Operation Chipmunk: New Home
"Operation Chipmunk: New Home" was an urban environmental education program designed in cooperation with a social enterprise Touch4Good.
It was designed to arouse children's interest in biodiversity within city space by learning and experiencing the newly established park- Gyeongin Park, where used to be a rail way- in Seoul as a chipmunk.
The children went through stages of identifying, acquinting, and learning about the features of the species that used to be so abundant until the past decade, and finally making a diagnosis of whether the new park was suitable for chipmunks to reside in.
The tool kit was made entirely out of locally recylced materials.
